  LAND UTILIZATION  Land is a scarce resource, whose supply is fixed for all practical purposes. At the same time, the demand for land for various competing purposes is continuously increasing with the increase in human population and economic growth.Land use pattern at any given time is determined by several factors including size of human and livestock population, the demand pattern, the technology in use, the cultural traditions, the location and capability of land, institutional factors like ownership pattern and rights scale regulation. CONCEPT OF MACROECONOMICS

The term Macroeconomics applies to the study of relations between economic aggregates .It is the theory of income,employment,prices and money. Macroeconomics is concerned with the basic problem of determination of flow of income.

Macroeconomics
1)Macroeconomics deals with the study of economic issues related to larger units or economy as a whole.
2)These issues are studied with a view to maximising social welfare.
3)It is concerned with the determination of aggregate output and general price level of the whole economy.
4)Level of output and employment is the main principle of macroeconomics .     
5) The subject matter is full employment,national income,general price level,trade cycle,economic growth etc.
6) It studies about the interdependence of economic factors which are categorised into aggregate units like aggregate demand ,aggregate supply ,total consumption,total supply. This method of study is called as "general equilibrium analysis".                           
                                        

Importance of Macroeconomics

a) Macroeconomics is important in getting us the idea of functioning of an economic system.
b)It is of great help in the formulation of economic policies.
c)No microeconomics law can be framed without the study of Macroeconomics.
d)The theory of economic fluctuations can be understood with the help of Macroeconomics.
e) Macroeconomics is important in understanding the effects of inflation and deflation.
f)It is the study of Macroeconomics which has brought forward the importance of study of National income.
g)As a result of Macroeconomics,it has become possible to give more attention to the problem of development of underdeveloped countries.

Limitations of Macroeconomics

a)There is danger of excessive generalisation from the individual experience to system as whole .
b)Because of Macroeconomics,it is not possible to get homogeneous constituents always.
c) Macroeconomics deals with heterogeneous quantities. Due to this,the average of these quantities lose their significance for accurate economic policy.
d) Macroeconomics takes no account of differences within the aggregates.
